About Us
Redcroft House is a care home in Edinburgh, which is fully staffed with support workers trained to look after your loved ones.
Our dedicated and experienced staff tailor the care services to better serve our service users in an environment that is warm and welcoming to make it feel just like home.
Rajen is the Managing Director of Redcroft Care Homes Ltd. Prior to becoming the Managing Director, he worked in the care home for a few years.
Rajen and Joanne purchased the business in 2008. Prior to this, Rajen worked in both acute and community settings. He has had frontline and managerial experience in Paediatric, Young People, Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Health Needs. He is qualified in Learning Disability Nursing, Paediatric Nursing and Community Health.
Rajen’s experience has involved working in respite and residential settings, in acute hospitals. He set up and managed a pioneering Paediatric Outreach Service in Lothian. He also worked in the Transition of Young People with Complex Health Needs from Children to Adult services.
Joanne Mawjee
Joanne is a Director of Redcroft Care Homes Ltd. Most of the Service Users in the care home have known her informally. Joanne is a registered Occupational Therapist for Learning Disabilities. Over the years, she has worked in Care of the Elderly, Paediatrics and Learning Disabilities in the community.
Management Team
Richard Hamilton
Richard is the Registered Manager of Redcroft House Care Home. He has been part of the team for 7 years. During this time, he has worked in different roles: Support Worker, Senior Support Worker and Supervisor. He is currently working on his SVQ 4 qualification in Care Services Leadership and Management.
In addition, the organisation currently has two Senior Support Workers. They help to manage and coach the team of staff.
Support Team
The organisation currently has 18 support workers and cleaners with varied experience within health and social care.
